Careers
Small teams, real ownership, clients in the room.
We hire senior engineers and designers who want to own decisions rather than receive them. That means client contact, architecture you have to defend, and living with the consequences afterwards.
01Working here
What it is like
We are a small senior team that works directly with clients. There is no layer between you and the person whose problem you are solving, which is either the appeal or the dealbreaker depending on how you like to work.
Engagements run three to five people. You will own architecture decisions, defend them to a client, and live with them afterwards.
02Culture
How we actually work
You talk to clients
Engineers attend discovery, write the assessments and present them. If that sounds like a distraction from real work, this is the wrong team.
Small teams, real ownership
Three to five people per engagement. You own a domain end to end, including its tests, its observability and its handover documentation.
We write things down
Architecture decision records, runbooks, assessments. Not bureaucracy — the alternative is a company where three people know how anything works.
Pushback is expected
Including at us. The most valuable thing an engineer here does is say why a plan will not survive contact with production.
03Benefits
What we offer
Hybrid, genuinely
Two days in the office, three wherever you work best. Not a policy that quietly reverts after six months.
Learning budget and time
An annual budget for courses, conferences and certifications, plus the working days to actually use it.
Health cover for you and family
Comprehensive medical insurance, extended to dependants.
Paid on time, reviewed annually
Transparent bands, reviewed once a year against market rather than only when someone resigns.
04Open roles
No open positions right now
Still worth writing to us
We read every speculative application and we answer them, including when the answer is no. Tell us what you have built, what you want to work on next, and what you would want to be doing differently a year from now.
In the meantime
See the work you would have been doing.
The services pages are the honest version of the job description — the systems we are asked to build, and the constraints we are held to.
