Financial Services
We build software for banks, insurers and financial platforms where correctness, traceability and uptime are not trade-offs to be balanced against delivery speed.

01Overview
What we see in this sector
Financial systems have an unusual property: being approximately right is worse than being unavailable. That changes how software should be built — toward explicit consistency models, immutable event logs and reconciliation as a first-class feature.
It also changes how it should be changed. Regulated environments need release processes that produce evidence, which is precisely what good automation provides. Manual change control is not more careful; it is less auditable.
We work across onboarding and KYC, payment and transaction processing, regulatory reporting, and the modernisation of core systems that can no longer be safely changed.
02Challenges
Where it usually hurts
Legacy core systems
Platforms that cannot be changed safely, holding back every product initiative that depends on them.
Manual compliance reporting
Regulatory submissions assembled by hand from multiple systems, with the error risk that implies.
Onboarding friction
KYC and account opening processes that lose applicants partway through.
Reconciliation burden
Teams spending each month resolving differences between systems that should never have diverged.
03Our approach
What we put in place
Event-sourced transaction systems
Immutable event logs that make state reconstructable and audit a query rather than an investigation.
Automated regulatory reporting
Submissions generated from source data with full lineage, versioning and evidence retained.
Digital onboarding
KYC and identity verification flows designed to reduce abandonment without weakening controls.
Auditable delivery pipeline
Automated testing, approvals and deployment evidence that satisfies change control while increasing cadence.
05Technology
What we typically build with
- Backend02
Java
Long-lived transactional systems in regulated environments.
.NET
Enterprise services where Microsoft estate integration is the constraint.
- Cloud & DevOps02
AWS
Broadest managed-service catalogue; our default unless an estate dictates otherwise.
Azure
Natural fit alongside Microsoft identity, Dynamics and on-prem AD.
- Data03
Apache Kafka
Event backbone for systems that must decouple producers from consumers.
PostgreSQL
The default relational store. Correct, extensible, and boring in the best way.
Redis
Caching, queues and rate limiting where latency budgets are tight.
