Logistics & Supply Chain
We build logistics software for operations where a delay compounds: warehouse management, transport planning, driver applications and the customer-facing tracking that reduces inbound calls.

01Overview
What we see in this sector
Logistics runs on exceptions. The planned route, the planned dock slot and the planned delivery window are all fine until something changes — and the difference between a good operation and a struggling one is how quickly it finds out.
Most of the visibility problem is not sensor coverage. It is that data arrives in batches, in different systems, hours after the event it describes.
We build for the exception path: event-driven updates, offline-capable driver applications, and operational interfaces designed for someone managing forty active exceptions rather than browsing a dashboard.
02Challenges
Where it usually hurts
Fragmented visibility
Warehouse, transport and customer systems each holding part of the picture, reconciled after the fact.
Manual planning
Route and slot planning in spreadsheets, unable to respond when conditions change mid-day.
Connectivity gaps
Drivers and yard staff working where coverage is unreliable, so data arrives late or not at all.
Customer service load
Inbound calls asking where an order is, because there is no self-service answer.
03Our approach
What we put in place
Event-driven tracking
Status changes published as they occur, giving one operational picture across warehouse and transport.
Offline-first driver apps
Proof of delivery, scanning and route updates that keep working without signal and sync on reconnection.
Planning and optimisation
Route, slot and load planning that re-optimises against real conditions during the day.
Customer self-service
Accurate tracking and delivery windows that remove the reason for the call.
05Technology
What we typically build with
- Backend02
Node.js
Shared language across the stack; strong fit for I/O-heavy services and BFFs.
Python
Data pipelines, ML services and automation where library depth wins.
- Mobile01
React Native
One codebase across iOS and Android when feature parity matters more than platform nuance.
- Cloud & DevOps01
AWS
Broadest managed-service catalogue; our default unless an estate dictates otherwise.
- Data03
Apache Kafka
Event backbone for systems that must decouple producers from consumers.
PostgreSQL
The default relational store. Correct, extensible, and boring in the best way.
Redis
Caching, queues and rate limiting where latency budgets are tight.
